So who are we?
Sarah is diagnosed Combined ADHD – a fact she didn’t find out till she was 51! Sarah had spent her whole life trying to find out why she felt so differently, why she couldn’t sleep like ‘normal people’, why she did everything ten times faster than anyone else, why she couldn’t relax and felt driven by some kind of internal motor she just couldn’t switch off.
Her ADHD diagnosis in March 2015 was the biggest light bulb moment of her life. Suddenly EVERYTHING made sense.
Sarah is now a fully qualified Person-Centred Counsellor, CBT Therapist and Life Coach. She works with ADHD children, teens and adults from 2 therapy rooms in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. She also works by telephone, online and via VSee.
Fiona is dedicated to helping anyone affected by mental ill health or psychological and emotional distress. She is also keen to promote the awareness and recognition of ADHD in adults and children. Fiona is passionate about promoting self-reliance, self-awareness and resilience, and to highlight the positive qualities relating to ADHD. Also to share her extensive knowledge of ADHD gained through experience and in-depth studies.
Fiona has particular interest in addressing and challenging the misdiagnosis of ADHD and helping people struggling with the consequences of unrecognised, undiagnosed ADHD.
Finally at 39 Fiona was diagnosed ADHD by the NHS and now her five-year-old son is being assessed for ADHD too.
Lynda has brought up two ADHD sons – one diagnosed Hyperactive ADHD, the other Inattentive ADHD who are now in their 20’s – and has been a qualified Humanistic Counsellor since 1992. Her counselling training also includes Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, CBT, DBT and Hypnosis.
Lynda has been working with ADHD clients for over 25 years and has worked with ASD and ADHD/ASD combined clients too. She has become expert at spotting ADHD in clients who come to her with no idea they are dealing with a neurological difference and the joy for Lynda is helping people who have been in the dark for years, suddenly be able to make sense of their whole lives.
Lynda works from two therapy rooms in Leeds and South Kirkby (near Doncaster, Barnsley, Wakefield & Pontefract) and works with teenagers and adults with ADHD. Lynda also work by telephone and Vsee.
